FLOWER MOUND PUBLIC SCHOOL ANNOUNCES CAMPUS UPDATES

Lawton, OK (October 2023) – Flower Mound Public School announces the opening of their new Early Childhood Center and the completion of various roofing upgrades throughout the campus. Furnishing of the Early Childhood Center was completed in the early fall, allowing classes to begin in late October, and playground equipment will be installed by the end of November. The campus-wide roofing replacement is a welcome upgrade to the district. The buildings previously had shingled roofs that frequently required costly repairs due to hail and wind damage. Financing for the project was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, TX.

The acquisitions include police vehicles, heavy equipment, and 911 radio technology to remain up-to-date and to provide the best service to citizens. The city has begun implementation of the new 911 technology and anticipates delivery of the vehicles and heavy equipment by the end of September. CITY OF CLEBURNE ANNOUNCES GOLF CART FLEET UPDATE

The new fleet is replacing the city’s previously leased carts from 2017. The vehicles will be used by golfers and maintenance workers for daily gameplay and operations. The city has already received the new carts from Club Car, and financing for the acquisition was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

CITY OF WHITNEY ANNOUNCES CITY-WIDE INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS

The upgrade began with a pilot program to test the difference the new radio-read meters could make. After noticing improvements in readings, the city made the decision to replace the remaining 1,100 meters. CITY OF MANOR ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF NEW PUBLIC WORKS EQUIPMENT

Manor, TX (May 2023) – The City of Manor announces the acquisition of a new chipper truck and hydro excavation combination sewer jet truck. The chipper truck will serve the city and its residents by cleaning up debris from seasonal storms. The combination unit will allow the city to clear up blockages in the sewer system more efficiently and safely. The chipper truck was provided by Custom Truck Source and is already in use by the city crew. The hydro excavation combination sewer jet truck was purchased from Heil of Texas and is anticipated to be delivered by the end of July. Financing for the acquisitions was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

ORANGE COUNTY ESD 2 ACQUIRES NEW APPARATUS AND DISPATCH SYSTEM

Bridge City, Texas (May 2023) – Orange County ESD 2 announces the acquisition of a new fire truck and radio dispatch system. The apparatus is replacing an engine that served the district for over 20 years and will be joining a fleet of 10 other fire apparatus and three support vehicles. The radio system and accompanying equipment will be replacing a system from the 1980s that was donated to the district after Hurricane Ike struck in 2008. The district serves as the dispatch center for eight departments, so the new equipment will provide both the district and its partners with a more reliable and current communication system. The apparatus was purchased from Deep South Fire trucks, and the dispatch equipment is being provided by Motorola. Financing was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.
