Hermleigh ISD Announces Campus-Wide Improvements

Hermleigh, TX (March 2025) – Hermleigh ISD announces a variety of improvements throughout their campus. “We have really nice facilities, which have always been a point of pride for our district, but they are now going on thirteen to fourteen years old,” Jessie Ellerbe, Superintendent of Hermleigh ISD, shared. “Working with my school board, we identified and prioritized several areas needing attention.”

The district has now completed several projects including installing new turf on the softball and baseball fields, pouring new concrete for bus lanes, and upgrading various furnishings and equipment. Additionally, new student Chromebooks are on order, and the district plans to expand its vehicle fleet, upgrade security measures, and address roof concerns over the remainder of the school year. Financing for the improvements was provided by Government Capital Corporation in Southlake, Texas.

AXTELL ISD ANNOUNCES TECHNOLOGY ACQUISITION

This acquisition includes the latest Chromebooks, iPads, and various accessories needed for online testing and coursework. The technology, purchased from Black Rock Technology Group, is being implemented as the new school year begins. Financing for the acquisition was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, TX.

CITY OF MARBLE FALLS ANNOUNCES CAPITAL EQUIPMENT ACQUISITIONS

The acquisitions include police vehicles, heavy equipment, and 911 radio technology to remain up-to-date and to provide the best service to citizens. The city has begun implementation of the new 911 technology and anticipates delivery of the vehicles and heavy equipment by the end of September. ORANGE COUNTY ESD 2 ACQUIRES NEW APPARATUS AND DISPATCH SYSTEM

Bridge City, Texas (May 2023) – Orange County ESD 2 announces the acquisition of a new fire truck and radio dispatch system. The apparatus is replacing an engine that served the district for over 20 years and will be joining a fleet of 10 other fire apparatus and three support vehicles. The radio system and accompanying equipment will be replacing a system from the 1980s that was donated to the district after Hurricane Ike struck in 2008. The district serves as the dispatch center for eight departments, so the new equipment will provide both the district and its partners with a more reliable and current communication system. The apparatus was purchased from Deep South Fire trucks, and the dispatch equipment is being provided by Motorola. Financing was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

LAMPASAS COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT ACQUIRES NEW MAPPING SOFTWARE

Lampasas, TX (January 2023) – The Lampasas County Appraisal District (Lampasas CAD) announces the acquisition of new Geographic Information System mapping software. The software is replacing an outdated system and will be used for appraising properties and collecting property taxes in Lampasas County, its cities, and two independent school districts. The new software was purchased from Harris Govern and is anticipated to be implemented in March 2023. Financing for the upgrade was provided by Government Capital Corporation in Southlake, Texas.

WEBB COUNTY ANNOUNCES TECHNOLOGY UPGRADES

Webb County, TX (September 2022) – Webb County announces the acquisition of new technology for the county’s police vehicles. The technology includes mobile radios, in-car video systems, and vehicle lighting packages. With some of the previous police equipment being obsolete and aging patrol units over 10 years old, the new police equipment funded will be added to new police units in order to provide more advanced police technology.
