Lawton, OK (October 2023) – Flower Mound Public School announces the opening of their new Early Childhood Center and the completion of various roofing upgrades throughout the campus. Furnishing of the Early Childhood Center was completed in the early fall, allowing classes to begin in late October, and playground equipment will be installed by the end of November. The campus-wide roofing replacement is a welcome upgrade to the district. The buildings previously had shingled roofs that frequently required costly repairs due to hail and wind damage. Financing for the project was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, TX.
“Having partnered with Government Capital in the past, we knew we could count on their expertise with Oklahoma school finance,” commented Dax Trent, Superintendent, Flower Mound Public School. “We were able to seamlessly combine multiple projects into one financing, and we couldn’t be any more pleased. We look forward to working with Gov Cap again in the future.”
“I would like to congratulate Superintendent Dax Trent and the Flower Mound Public School Board on the completion of the Early Childhood Center and the new roofing,” stated Chris Schrader, Municipal Finance Specialist, Government Capital Corporation. “We take great pride in assisting Oklahoma schools in meeting their goals and objectives.”
