ZAVALA COUNTY ACQUIRES NEW ROADS AND BRIDGES EQUIPMENT

Crystal City, TX (April 2024) – Zavala County announces the acquisition of new heavy equipment for the maintenance and improvement of county roads and bridges. The equipment was needed for ongoing projects and was put in use directly upon delivery in February. Financing for the acquisitions was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, TX.

CITY OF BRIDGEPORT ANNOUNCES HEAVY EQUIPMENT ACQUISITION

Bridgeport, TX (March 2024) – The City of Bridgeport announces the acquisition of new street rollers for various road maintenance and improvement projects. The new equipment is replacing older models that served the city for over twenty years. Delivery of the street rollers from Closner Equipment has begun, and the city anticipates receiving the final delivery in April. CITY OF TROUP ANNOUNCES COMPLETION OF WATER WELL REPAIRS

Troup, TX (March 2024) – The City of Troup announces the completion of water well repairs to a 1,000-foot deep well that brings potable water to residents. Built in 1957, the well was due for routine servicing in August 2023 when the well suddenly failed, and it was discovered that the pump needed an emergency replacement. The pump replacement and installation were completed in November, and financing for the project was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

Memphis, TX (February 2024) – Memphis ISD is nearing the completion of their two-phase field house project. The first phase of the project began with construction in 2022. Today, the district has begun phase two of the project – furnishing the 5,000 square foot facility with equipment including lockers, weight machines, whirlpools, and more. The previous 3,500 square foot field house served the district for close to 100 years. Construction of the new field house is anticipated to be completed by the end of April 2024.
