City of Granbury Announces Utility Equipment Acquisitions

August 10, 2026

Granbury, TX (August 2026) – The City of Granbury announces the acquisition of new heavy equipment for the electric and wastewater departments. The equipment for the electric department will be utilized to safely install, maintain, and repair electrical infrastructure throughout the city. The equipment for the wastewater department will replace outdated equipment and will be used to service 47 lift stations and two wastewater treatment plants.

The equipment has been delivered to the city and put into use, improving reliability, reducing downtime, and supporting safe and efficient operations throughout the city. Financing for the acquisition was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

City of Tool Announces Heavy Equipment Acquisition

February 11, 2026

Tool, TX (February 2026) – The City of Tool announces the acquisition of a new excavator to be used to address drainage issues around the city. The new equipment will provide a more efficient and cost-effective approach for the installation of new culverts. The equipment was recently delivered to the city and will be put into use as soon as possible. Financing for the acquisition was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

City of Campbell Celebrates New Fire Station

December 5, 2025

Campbell, MO (December 2025) – The City of Campbell and the Campbell Volunteer Fire Department recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for their new fire station.  The new station provides the fire department with a dedicated area to train and host meetings and has adequate areas for vehicles and equipment.  Following the ribbon-cutting, the station was opened to the public for viewing, including the office area, large bay, and storage area.  The long-awaited project has been met with excitement and pride from the community. Financing for the construction was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

Town of Charlton Announces Police Fleet Additions

Charlton, MA (October 2025) – The Town of Charlton announces the addition of new police vehicles to the town’s fleet. The acquisition includes responder, admin, and pursuit vehicles. The new vehicles are anticipated to be delivered by the end of November from Colonial Municipal Group. Financing for the acquisition was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

City of Ville Platte Announces City-Wide Utility Meter Upgrades

August 6, 2025

Ville Platte, Louisiana (August 2025) – The City of Ville Platte announces city-wide upgrades to their water and gas metering system. The city’s previous system had been in place for fifteen years, and the smart meter technology was failing and causing inaccurate billing. The upgrade will replace all utility meters city-wide and install three base stations with antennas and repeaters throughout the city to communicate meter data.

Baton Rouge WinWater provided the equipment for the project and is in the process of installing the 3,500 water meters. The city is currently installing the 1,120 gas meters. The project is anticipated to be completed in the first quarter of 2026. Financing for the project was provided by Government Capital Corporation of Southlake, TX.

Town of Ball Announces Fire Apparatus Acquisition

February 5, 2025

Ball, Louisiana (January 2025) – The Town of Ball proudly announces the addition of a new pumper to the town’s fire department fleet. The acquisition of the new apparatus is a significant milestone for the town resulting from a steadfast effort promoting the acquisition to voters and raising awareness of the need for a new pumper. The town’s former and current fire chiefs as well as the mayor and town council worked in tandem to advocate for the new pumper and are grateful to the voters for their support.

The new apparatus will become the town’s first out engine, replacing a 2010 engine that will move to second out status. The town’s 1996 engine that currently serves as the second out engine will move to reserve status, taking the place of the town’s current 1992 reserve engine. The city took delivery of the pumper from US Fire Pump at the start of the new year and is currently preparing the apparatus to be put into service. Financing for the acquisition was provided by Government Capital Corporation of Southlake, Texas.
