Jack CAD Announces Facility Acquisition and Renovation

July 8, 2026

Jacksboro, TX (July 2026) – Jack County Appraisal District announces the acquisition of a 2,400 square foot facility. Due to the District’s current office building aging and requiring various repairs, the Board of Directors determined acquiring a new building would be the most efficient and cost-effective step forward.

The new facility is currently configured as a warehouse but will be converted into office and boardroom space for the District. Renovations are expected to be completed over the summer for the staff to move in by the fall. Financing for the acquisition and renovations was provided by Government Capital Corporation of Southlake, TX.

Fort Bend CAD Announces Facility Acquisition

June 24, 2026

Rosenberg, TX (June 2026) – Fort Bend Central Appraisal District (FBCAD) announces the acquisition of a 200,000 square foot office building in Sugar Land. As Fort Bend County has rapidly grown in recent years, so too have the demands on the Appraisal District. The new facility will allow the FBCAD staff to function with greater efficiency and better meet their operational, logistical, and strategic needs.

The district is currently in the pre-construction phase of the renovation process, working with architects on design of six of the eight floors of the building. Construction is anticipated to finish by early 2027, with the aim of enabling the FBCAD team to move in and become fully operational by the equalization phase of the tax calendar.Financing for the acquisition and renovations was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

Montgomery County ESD 9 Announces Station Renovation Project

June 10, 2026

Conroe, TX (June 2026) – Montgomery County ESD 9 has begun renovations on Fire Station No. 86. After nearly 50 years of wear and tear, the station was due for an update of its living quarters. Keeping the apparatus bays intact, the renovations include a new watch office, kitchen, dorms, weight room, and separate living area away from the apparatus. The renovations are progressing smoothly and are expected to be completed in September 2026. Financing for the project was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

Medina CAD Announces Facility Acquisition and Renovation

Hondo, TX (March 2026) – Medina Central Appraisal District announces the acquisition of an 8,300 square foot office building in the City of Hondo. A move a long time in the making, the acquisition comes after years of dedicated planning and budgeting coupled with significant growth in Medina County. Renovations to restructure the space to best fit the District’s needs are scheduled to begin promptly. Financing for the acquisition and renovations was provided by Government Capital Corporation of Southlake, TX.

Guadalupe Appraisal District Announces Facility Acquisition and Renovation

December 3, 2025

Seguin, TX (December 2025) – The Guadalupe Appraisal District announces the acquisition of a 36,000 square foot facility with plans to fully modernize the three-story main structure. Over the past several years, the population of Guadalupe County has grown significantly, thus increasing the district’s workload and staff. The new facility will provide the district with increased space for staff operations and public service needs as well as updated technological systems. The district aims to create a functional, energy-efficient, and community-serving facility while respecting the building’s historic significance.

Renovation design is currently underway, and construction is anticipated to begin in the spring of 2026. The district expects to move into the new facility in the beginning of 2027 shortly after construction concludes in time for the 2027 equalization phase period. Financing for the acquisition and renovation was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

Hermleigh ISD Announces Campus-Wide Improvements

April 2, 2025

Hermleigh, TX (March 2025) – Hermleigh ISD announces a variety of improvements throughout their campus. “We have really nice facilities, which have always been a point of pride for our district, but they are now going on thirteen to fourteen years old,” Jessie Ellerbe, Superintendent of Hermleigh ISD, shared. “Working with my school board, we identified and prioritized several areas needing attention.”

The district has now completed several projects including installing new turf on the softball and baseball fields, pouring new concrete for bus lanes, and upgrading various furnishings and equipment. Additionally, new student Chromebooks are on order, and the district plans to expand its vehicle fleet, upgrade security measures, and address roof concerns over the remainder of the school year. Financing for the improvements was provided by Government Capital Corporation in Southlake, Texas.
