CITY OF PINELAND ANNOUNCES POLICE, FIRE FLEET UPDATES

Pineland, TX (March 2024) – The City of Pineland announces the acquisition of new police vehicles and a new fire apparatus. The police vehicles are replacing units that served the city for a combined fifteen years, and the new apparatus is replacing a tanker acquired in 2003. The police vehicles are anticipated to arrive in the summer of 2024, and the tanker’s delivery is scheduled for January of 2025. Partial funding for the fire apparatus is provided by a grant from the Texas Forest Service, and the remaining acquisition costs were financed by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

KLAMATH FALLS CITY SCHOOLS ANNOUNCES FLEET ACQUISITION

Klamath Falls, OR (February 2024) – Klamath Falls City Schools announces the completion of the first phase of its school bus fleet replacement plan. Five new buses, which meet Oregon’s new emissions standards, are replacing aging models built prior to 2007 within the existing fleet. The new buses were delivered at the end of 2023 and have begun running daily routes. The district plans to replace the remaining aged buses within the coming year. The buses were purchased from Western Bus, and financing for the acquisition was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, TX.

CITY OF TALLULAH ACQUIRES NEW POLICE VEHICLES

Tallulah, LA (December 2023) – The City of Tallulah announces the addition of five new police vehicles to the existing fleet. The vehicles will be used for investigative and administrative duties as well as for daily patrols to serve the growing community of Tallulah. The vehicles were delivered to the city in October from Premier Dodge, and financing was provided by Government Capital Corporation in Southlake, TX.

LORENA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT ANNOUNCES ROUTE BUS ACQUISITIONS

Lorena, TX (October 2023) – Lorena Independent School District announces the addition of five new route buses to their fleet. The new buses will accommodate the growing student population by running daily routes to and from Lorena ISD campuses and throughout the community. Three of the five new buses have been delivered, and the final two are expected by the end of the month. The buses will be placed in service in the beginning of November. CITY OF CUERO ANNOUNCES VEHICLE FLEET ACQUISITIONS

Cuero, TX (October 2023) – The City of Cuero announces the acquisition of dozens of new vehicles for multiple city departments including Emergency Services, Public Works, and Parks & Recreation. The fleet includes new vehicles to accommodate substantial growth of the city as well as replacements for outdated models. Due to newly available funds, the city had the opportunity to undertake the fleet update project. The updates will allow the city to begin its Vehicle Replacement Cycle with a fresh inventory. Delivery of the vehicles has begun and is anticipated to continue throughout the next 12 months. Financing for the project was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

TRAVIS COUNTY ESD 7 ACQUIRES NEW LADDER TRUCK AND RESCUE PUMPER

Jonestown, Texas (October 2023) – Travis County ESD 7 announces the acquisition of a new ladder truck and rescue pumper. The ladder truck is replacing an engine that served the district for over 20 years and the rescue pumper is replacing a model from 1994. The vehicles will be joining a fleet of 37 emergency services vehicles. The ladder truck was delivered on July 31 this summer, and the rescue pumper is anticipated to arrive by November. Financing for the apparatus was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.
