Jonestown, Texas (October 2023) – Travis County ESD 7 announces the acquisition of a new ladder truck and rescue pumper. The ladder truck is replacing an engine that served the district for over 20 years and the rescue pumper is replacing a model from 1994. The vehicles will be joining a fleet of 37 emergency services vehicles. The ladder truck was delivered on July 31 this summer, and the rescue pumper is anticipated to arrive by November. Financing for the apparatus was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.
“Having financed numerous acquisitions with Government Capital since 2017, we know we can rely on their experience and expertise,” stated Donnie Norman, Fire Chief, Travis County ESD 7. “We always go to Government Capital because their financing program allows us to continually replace aging vehicles and keep our fleet updated.”
“I want to congratulate Chief Donnie Norman and Travis County ESD 7 on their new apparatus,” commented Ed King, Senior Vice President, Government Capital Corporation. “We take great pride in partnering with Texas Emergency Services Districts to help them achieve their goals and objectives.”
