Lorena, TX (October 2023) – Lorena Independent School District announces the addition of five new route buses to their fleet. The new buses will accommodate the growing student population by running daily routes to and from Lorena ISD campuses and throughout the community. Three of the five new buses have been delivered, and the final two are expected by the end of the month. The buses will be placed in service in the beginning of November. The new buses were purchased from Thomas Bus, and financing for the acquisitions were provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, TX.
