FORT BEND COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT NO. 6 ANNOUNCES THEIR FIRST STATION

 Fort Bend County, Texas (May 2022) – The Fort Bend County Emergency Services District No. 6 announces the construction of their first fire station. The 10,000 square foot two-story facility will include four bays, six dorm rooms, three offices, multipurpose room, and fitness center. Construction will begin in June 2022 and is anticipated to be completed by summer of 2023. The facility will be located on approximately 1.5 acres. The remaining land will allow for the future addition of an administration office and training center. Architectural design is being provided by PGAL Architecture and construction is being provided by Christensen Building Group. Financing for the project was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

JIM WELLS COUNTY PURCHASES MULTIPLE VEHICLES

  Jim Wells County, Texas (April 2021) ‐ Jim Wells County announces the purchase of multiple vehicles for the Sherriff Department. Silsbee Fleet Group, Silsbee, Texas was selected as the vendor for the ten Chevrolet Tahoe Police Pursuit Vehicles. Five of the Tahoes were purchased as patrol units, four of which are to be used by the Criminal Investigation Division. An additional Tahoe is outfitted as a K9 unit. The vehicle delivery will be staggered between mid-April and June. Financing for the acquisition was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

REEVES COUNTY ESD NO. 1 AND 2 PLANS NEW FACILITIES

Reeves County, Texas (March 2021) – Reeves County Emergency Service Districts No. 1 and No. 2 recently approved the construction of three fire stations. Construction of the multi-phase project is scheduled to begin in the coming months. The project will include a central headquarters facility with emergency command capabilities and training facilities. Martinez Architects, LP, Kingwood, Texas provided the architectural design. Financing for the project was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

“The new facilities that are being constructed will immediately improve our response times and capabilities across the county,” stated Adrian Garcia, Joint Emergency Services Chief. “The expertise provided by Government Capital allowed us to add the third station to our near-term construction plans which will ensure that all regions of the County benefit from the new facilities and apparatus.”

UMATILLA MORROW RADIO & DATA DISTRICT MAKES DISTRICT‐WIDE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM ENHANCEMENTS

Pendleton, Oregon (April 2019) ‐ The Umatilla Morrow Radio & Data District recently announced the upgrade of their district‐wide public safety communication system. This upgrade will include site infrastructure, dispatch consoles and subscriber units. Installation is to begin immediately, with completion scheduled for the fall of 2020. The communication system was designed by RACOM. The district selected Government Capital Corporation as the most cost effective financing solution for the project.

“Building the best public safety communications system possible with our relatively small budget is a priority for our district.
