CITY OF EDGEWOOD ANNOUNCES POLICE FLEET UPGRADES

May 1, 2024

Edgewood, TX (April 2024) – The City of Edgewood announces the acquisition of multiple new police vehicles to replace units that have served the city since 2015. The new vehicles represent the first phase in the city’s plan to update the fleet on a rotating basis. The units are on order from Defender Supply and are anticipated to be delivered in early fall. Financing for the acquisitions was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

TOWN OF HAUGHTON ACQUIRES NEW PUMPER TRUCK

February 16, 2024

Haughton, LA (February 2024) – The Town of Haughton announces the addition of a new Rescue Pumper to the fire department’s 10-vehicle fleet. The new apparatus is replacing a pumper truck that served the town for over twenty years and will be put into reserve status. The new truck serves a dual purpose of providing both rescue services and carrying water for emergency situations. The Rescue Pumper was recently delivered from Bulldog Fire Apparatus and will soon be put into service after customizations are completed. Financing for the acquisition was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

CITY OF CUERO ANNOUNCES VEHICLE FLEET ACQUISITIONS

Cuero, TX (October 2023) – The City of Cuero announces the acquisition of dozens of new vehicles for multiple city departments including Emergency Services, Public Works, and Parks & Recreation. The fleet includes new vehicles to accommodate substantial growth of the city as well as replacements for outdated models. Due to newly available funds, the city had the opportunity to undertake the fleet update project. The updates will allow the city to begin its Vehicle Replacement Cycle with a fresh inventory. Delivery of the vehicles has begun and is anticipated to continue throughout the next 12 months. Financing for the project was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

CITY OF ZACHARY TO BREAK GROUND ON NEW POLICE STATION

February 22, 2023

Zachary, LA (February 2023) – The City of Zachary announces the construction of a new police station and training center. The 21,000 square foot facility is a much-anticipated upgrade for the Police Department who has been sharing facility space with the Zachary City Court for over 35 years. “I have watched firsthand as the department has outgrown the building, having worked in the police department complex for the past 34 years,” stated Darryl Lawrence, Police Chief, City of Zachary. “I want to thank the prior administration and city council for allowing us to be a part of all aspects of choosing the architectural firm that designed the new building and selecting the location.”

The new station will house the entire police force under one roof and provide more storage as well as an in-house training center that will be an asset to the health and wellness of the members of the force. The city is expecting to break ground on the new station this month, and the facility should be completed by the end of 2024. Grace Hebert Curtis Architects was selected as the architectural firm for the new station, Kean Miller LLP served as bond counsel, and financing for the project was provided by Government Capital Corporation of Southlake, Texas.

Fort Bend County, Texas (May 2022) – The Fort Bend County Emergency Services District No. 6 announces the construction of their first fire station. The 10,000 square foot two-story facility will include four bays, six dorm rooms, three offices, multipurpose room, and fitness center. Construction will begin in June 2022 and is anticipated to be completed by summer of 2023. The facility will be located on approximately 1.5 acres. The remaining land will allow for the future addition of an administration office and training center. Architectural design is being provided by PGAL Architecture and construction is being provided by Christensen Building Group. JIM WELLS COUNTY PURCHASES MULTIPLE VEHICLES

June 7, 2021

Jim Wells County, Texas (April 2021) ‐ Jim Wells County announces the purchase of multiple vehicles for the Sherriff Department. Silsbee Fleet Group, Silsbee, Texas was selected as the vendor for the ten Chevrolet Tahoe Police Pursuit Vehicles. Five of the Tahoes were purchased as patrol units, four of which are to be used by the Criminal Investigation Division. An additional Tahoe is outfitted as a K9 unit. The vehicle delivery will be staggered between mid-April and June. Financing for the acquisition was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.
