Marlin, TX (April 2023) – Falls County announces the acquisition of a new excavator to be used on the county’s Roads and Bridges project. The new excavator is the second in the county’s fleet and will be used in conjunction with heavy-duty freight trucks to clear the path for the new roads. The new equipment is expected to arrive by the end of April and the infrastructure improvements will begin upon the equipment’s arrival. Financing for the project was provided by Government Capital, Southlake, TX.
“Having partnered with Government Capital Corporation on multiple projects since 2004, we went right to their team for financing for this equipment acquisition,” stated County Judge Jay Elliott, Falls County. “We know we can get a good rate with Gov Cap and can count on them for a smooth process. We value their knowledge and expertise when it comes to municipal financing for Texas Counties.”
“I want to congratulate Judge Elliott, Georgie Patterson, and Falls County on this acquisition,” commented Cody Thomas, Municipal Finance Specialist, Government Capital Corporation. “We take great pride in assisting Texas counties in meeting their goals and objectives.”
