Webb County, TX (September 2022) – Webb County announces the acquisition of new technology for the county’s police vehicles. The technology includes mobile radios, in-car video systems, and vehicle lighting packages. With some of the previous police equipment being obsolete and aging patrol units over 10 years old, the new police equipment funded will be added to new police units in order to provide more advanced police technology. The equipment is anticipated to be delivered by late fall of 2022. Financing was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.
