BUFFALO PUBLIC SCHOOLS ANNOUNCES ACTIVITY BUS ACQUISITION

Buffalo Public Schools logoBuffalo, OK (April 2024) – Buffalo Public Schools announces the addition of an upgraded activity bus to the district’s fleet. The bus is being used to transport students for athletic events as well as field trips which often require multiple hours on the road due to Buffalo’s rural location in Northwest Oklahoma. The bus was acquired from Mustang Public Schools in Central Oklahoma and arrived in Buffalo at the beginning of the spring semester. Financing for the acquisition was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, TX.

MEMPHIS ISD NEARS COMPLETION OF NEW FIELD HOUSE

Memphis ISD logoMemphis, TX (February 2024) – Memphis ISD is nearing the completion of their two-phase field house project. The first phase of the project began with construction in 2022. Today, the district has begun phase two of the project – furnishing the 5,000 square foot facility with equipment including lockers, weight machines, whirlpools, and more. The previous 3,500 square foot field house served the district for close to 100 years. Construction of the new field house is anticipated to be completed by the end of April 2024. Both phases of the project were financed by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, TX.

Klamath Falls City Schools logoKlamath Falls, OR (February 2024) – Klamath Falls City Schools announces the completion of the first phase of its school bus fleet replacement plan. Five new buses, which meet Oregon’s new emissions standards, are replacing aging models built prior to 2007 within the existing fleet. The new buses were delivered at the end of 2023 and have begun running daily routes. The district plans to replace the remaining aged buses within the coming year. The buses were purchased from Western Bus, and financing for the acquisition was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, TX.

BUSHLAND INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT AWARDS ROOFING UPGRADES

Bushland, TX (October 2023) – Bushland Independent School District recently awarded a district-wide roofing replacement project to Coryell Roofing. The project will focus on replacing storm-damaged roofs across multiple facilities throughout the district’s campuses. LORENA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT ANNOUNCES ROUTE BUS ACQUISITIONS

The new buses will accommodate the growing student population by running daily routes to and from Lorena ISD campuses and throughout the community. Three of the five new buses have been delivered, and the final two are expected by the end of the month. The buses will be placed in service in the beginning of November. The new buses were purchased from Thomas Bus, and financing for the acquisitions were provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, TX.

The acquisition marks the beginning of an initiative to update segments of the fleet on an annual basis. The replacement cycle will allow the district to maintain a current fleet while remaining within budget. The first set of new buses will be used for the high school’s varsity sports teams and will be delivered in the beginning of the 2023-24 school year. The buses were purchased from National Bus, and financing was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, TX.
