Wyandotte, OK (August 2023) – Wyandotte Public Schools announces the addition of new activity buses to the district’s fleet. The acquisition marks the beginning of an initiative to update segments of the fleet on an annual basis. The replacement cycle will allow the district to maintain a current fleet while remaining within budget. The first set of new buses will be used for the high school’s varsity sports teams and will be delivered in the beginning of the 2023-24 school year. The buses were purchased from National Bus, and financing was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, TX.
“Having partnered with Government Capital Corporation previously, it was easy to turn to the GCC team for this acquisition,” commented Brad Wade, Superintendent, Wyandotte Public Schools. “The financing process was smooth and straightforward thanks to Government Capital’s expertise with school finance in Oklahoma.”
“I would like to congratulate Superintendent Brad Wade and the Wyandotte Public Schools Board on the acquisition of the new activity buses,” stated Chris Schrader, Municipal Finance Specialist, Government Capital Corporation. “We take great pride in assisting Oklahoma schools in meeting their goals and objectives.”
