CITY OF SEMINOLE ANNOUNCES WATER METER REPLACEMENT PROJECT

City of Seminole logoSeminole, TX (December 2023) – The City of Seminole announces the implementation of a city-wide water meter replacement project. The new meters will allow the city to recapture water loss and quickly address leakages as they arise. The city selected Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) meters to help track real-time consumption and allow customers the ability to access their data online. The 3,300 meters are on order and are expected to arrive by the end of this month from Premier Waterworks. Installation is anticipated to be completed by February 2024, and financing for the project was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

CITY OF LACY LAKEVIEW ANNOUNCES CITY-WIDE WATER METER UPGRADE

City of Lacy Lakeview logoLacy Lakeview, TX (November 2023) – The City of Lacy Lakeview is in the early stages of a city-wide water meter upgrade project replacing over 2,300 meters. The new ultrasonic meters will allow the city to recapture water loss and improve efficiency. The equipment is expected to arrive by the first of the year, and the project’s anticipated completion is Summer of 2024. The meters and installation will be provided by Core & Main, and financing for the project is being provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

CITY OF CORRIGAN ANNOUNCES CITY-WIDE WATER METER PROJECT

The radio-read system will collect and transmit data remotely, allowing the city to recapture water loss and reallocate valuable manpower. The project is anticipated to be completed by the end of October. System design and installation of the project is being provided by Core & Main. Financing for the project was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

CITY OF WHITNEY ANNOUNCES CITY-WIDE INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS

The upgrade began with a pilot program to test the difference the new radio-read meters could make. After noticing improvements in readings, the city made the decision to replace the remaining 1,100 meters. The water meters are being provided by Fortiline, and financing for the upgrades was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

POLLOK-REDTOWN WATER SUPPLY CORPORATION BEGINS WATER METER UPGRADES

Pollok, TX (April 2023) – The Pollok-Redtown Water Supply Corporation announces the implementation of a city-wide water meter replacement project. The new radio-read meters will provide more accurate data and a more efficient process. Additionally, the upgrades will alleviate the need for citizens to read and report their water usage. The new equipment was provided by Secure Vision and is anticipated to be in operation by the end of May. Financing for the project as well as refinancing of existing loans was provided by Government Capital Corporation in Southlake, Texas.

VILLAGE OF FOREST HILL UPGRADES UTILITY METER INFRASTRUCTURE

November 30, 2022

Forest Hill, LA (November 2022) – The Village of Forest Hill announces the upgrade of electronic water and gas meters including an Automatic Meter Infrastructure. This upgrade will allow meters to be read and monitored more accurately and operate more efficiently while improving service to the residents of Forest Hill. “The town’s Water Department employees currently spend approximately 72 hours a month manually reading 1,200 water meters on the system,” commented Elizabeth A. Jeter, Mayor, Village of Forest Hill. “The new system will allow that time to be invested in other needed areas such as improving infrastructure while delivering the best service possible to our community.” The Village selected the Louisiana Municipal Advisory and Technical Services Bureau (LaMATS) to assist in the procurement process. Coburn Supply Company and Aqua-Metric provided the metering solution including project design and installation. The tax-exempt lease purchase financing solution was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.
