GOLD RIDGE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT ACQUIRES NEW APPARATUS

June 8, 2021

Gold Ridge Fire Protection District, Sebastopol, CA (March 2021) – Gold Ridge Fire Protection District announces the April 2021 delivery of a 2021 Rosenbauer Type 2 Engine-Water Tender truck. This apparatus has a 1,500-gallon storage capacity and can pump 1,000 gallons per minute. Andy Pforsich, Assistant Fire Chief of Gold Ridge Fire Protection District stated this apparatus is a combination Type 2 engine. It is the most requested for mutual aid.” Government Capital Corporation, Southlake Texas provided the financing for the acquisition.

Gold Ridge Fire Protection District serves the communities of Hessel, Twin Hill, Freestone, and rural Sebastopol, approximately 45 miles northeast of San Francisco. The district provides all-risk fire protection and emergency medical response across 75 square miles of rural Sonoma County. The Fire District averages 1,200 calls each year and has 20 paid and 50 volunteer fire fighters.

ONO ISLAND WATER, SEWER AND FIRE PROTECTION AUTHORITY ANNOUNCE CONSTRUCTION OF NEW FIRE STATION

June 7, 2021

 

Ono Island Water, Sewer & Fire Protection Authority, AL (March 2021) – The Ono Island Water, Sewer and Fire Protection Authority recently approved the construction of a new fire station on River Road in Orange Beach, Alabama. Construction of the fire station is expected to be completed in the next 9-12 months.  The 5,883 square foot station will include 2 apparatus bays, 6 dorm rooms, an office, an EMS Room, kitchen and living area as well as a training room.  McCollough Architecture, Orange Beach, Alabama was selected to provide the architectural design for the project.  MW Rogers Construction Company LLC, Mobile, Alabama will serve as the general contractor. Financing for the project was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas. Hand Arendall Harrison Sale, Mobile, Alabama, served as bond counsel and provided all documentation and requisite legal opinion.

REEVES COUNTY ESD NO. 1 AND 2 PLANS NEW FACILITIES

June 7, 2021

Reeves County, Texas (March 2021) – Reeves County Emergency Service Districts No. 1 and No. 2 recently approved the construction of three fire stations. Construction of the multi-phase project is scheduled to begin in the coming months. The project will include a central headquarters facility with emergency command capabilities and training facilities. Martinez Architects, LP, Kingwood, Texas provided the architectural design. Financing for the project was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

“The new facilities that are being constructed will immediately improve our response times and capabilities across the county,” stated Adrian Garcia, Joint Emergency Services Chief. “The expertise provided by Government Capital allowed us to add the third station to our near-term construction plans which will ensure that all regions of the County benefit from the new facilities and apparatus.”

HARRIS COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT NO.16 ANNOUNCES CONSTRUCTION OF TWO FACILITIES

February 9, 2021

Harris County Emergency Services District No. 16, Klein, TX (February 2021) – The Harris County Emergency Services District No. 16 plans to begin construction in the next thirty days on a 27,000 square foot administration building and a 10,000 square foot maintenance facility.  The anticipated project completion is August 2023.  LDF Construction Inc. of Montgomery County, Texas was selected as the general contractor. The architectural design was provided by Brown Reynolds Watford, Dallas, Texas.  Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas is providing financing for the project.

WILSON COUNTY ESD NO. 5 ACQUIRES NEW APPARATUS

Wilson County Emergency Services District No. 5, Floresville, TX (February 2021) – Wilson County Emergency Services District No. 5 announces the recent delivery of a 2020 Pierce PUC Enforcer Pumper truck from Siddons Martin Emergency Group, LLC. A traditional “Push-In” ceremony will soon be scheduled. “This apparatus has a 1,000-gallon storage capacity and can pump 1,500 gallons per minute,” stated Adam Strzelczyk, Fire Chief of Wilson County Emergency Services District No. 5. SILVERHILL ACQUIRES NEW APPARATUS

January 18, 2021

Silverhill, AL (January 2021) – The Silverhill Fire Department announces the recent delivery of a new tanker truck.  The 2021 E-One VMT2 tanker truck increases the pump capacity to 1,250 GPM and storage capacity to 2,000 gallons, stated Josh Rice, Silverhill Fire Chief.  “Additionally, the new truck increased firefighter capacity to five firefighters.”  Sunbelt Fire Incorporated; in Fairhope, Alabama was selected as the equipment provider. Government Capital Corporation, Southlake Texas provided the financing for the acquisition.
