BRAZORIA COUNTY ESD 3 CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING OF NEW FIRE STATION

Brazoria County ESD 3 logoManvel, Texas (February 2024) – Brazoria County ESD 3 recently hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house for their new Fire and EMS Station. The 12,500-square-foot station includes three pull-thru apparatus bays in addition to living quarters for Brazoria County ESD 3 and Iowa Colony VFD EMS personnel.  Financing for the construction was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

“We are grateful to Government Capital for making this funding process a smooth one. We are all so excited that this project has been completed and appreciate all who were a part of making this happen,” stated Darrell Valusek, President, Brazoria County ESD 3.

TRAVIS COUNTY ESD 2 ACQUIRES PUMPERS AND LAND FOR FIRE STATION

Travis ESD 2 logoPflugerville, Texas (December 2023) – Travis County ESD 2 announces the acquisition of two new pumper trucks as well as land to build a new fire station in the eastern part of the District. Amid unprecedented population growth in the area, the acquisitions allow Travis County ESD 2 to meet the growing demand for emergency services in northeast Travis County. Financing for the apparatus and real estate was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

Travis County Emergency Services District No. 2 provides fire suppression, prevention, and first response emergency medical care and ambulance service in many areas, covering more than 75 square miles in Northeast Travis County, including the City of Pflugerville, with personnel and equipment working out of seven fire stations, 24 hours a day. TRAVIS COUNTY ESD 7 ACQUIRES NEW LADDER TRUCK AND RESCUE PUMPER

Travis County ESD 7 logoJonestown, Texas (October 2023) – Travis County ESD 7 announces the acquisition of a new ladder truck and rescue pumper. The ladder truck is replacing an engine that served the district for over 20 years and the rescue pumper is replacing a model from 1994. The vehicles will be joining a fleet of 37 emergency services vehicles. The ladder truck was delivered on July 31 this summer, and the rescue pumper is anticipated to arrive by November. Financing for the apparatus was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

ORANGE COUNTY ESD 2 ACQUIRES NEW APPARATUS AND DISPATCH SYSTEM

May 9, 2023

Bridge City, Texas (May 2023) – Orange County ESD 2 announces the acquisition of a new fire truck and radio dispatch system. The apparatus is replacing an engine that served the district for over 20 years and will be joining a fleet of 10 other fire apparatus and three support vehicles. The radio system and accompanying equipment will be replacing a system from the 1980s that was donated to the district after Hurricane Ike struck in 2008. The district serves as the dispatch center for eight departments, so the new equipment will provide both the district and its partners with a more reliable and current communication system. The apparatus was purchased from Deep South Fire trucks, and the dispatch equipment is being provided by Motorola. Financing was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

NEDERLAND FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT ACQUIRES NEW PUMPER APPARATUS

Nederland FPD logoNederland, CO (March 2023) – Nederland Fire Protection District announces the acquisition of a new Pierce Saber 4X4 pumper fire truck. The new apparatus will replace a 27-year-old engine as the first step in the district’s new Vehicle Replacement Plan. The plan involves replacing thirteen vehicles in the district’s fleet over the next eighteen years. The truck was purchased from Front Range Fire Apparatus, and financing was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

CITY OF FERRIS ACQUIRES NEW FIRE APPARATUSES

December 29, 2022

Logo for the City of FerrisFerris, TX (December 2022) – The City of Ferris announces the acquisition of a new fire engine and a new brush truck. The new vehicles will be able to carry a combined 1,400 gallons of water and eight firefighters. “The addition of these vehicles will significantly bolster the response for the City of Ferris and our surrounding communities by allowing us to respond to multiple or simultaneous emergencies,” stated Fire Chief Brian Horton, “The new trucks will also serve as backup when other fleet vehicles are receiving scheduled maintenance. I want to extend a huge thank you to the Ferris City Council and the City of Ferris Administration for their forward thinking throughout the procurement process.” The trucks will be delivered by Siddons Martin in twenty-four months, and financing was provided by Government Capital Corporation in Southlake, Texas.
