CITY OF WINNFIELD ACQUIRES NEW FIRE APPARATUS

City of Winnfield logoWinnfield, LA (May 2024) – The City of Winnfield announces the arrival of a new custom pumper. The new fire engine is a welcome upgrade for the city because of its state-of-the-art technology and equipment as well as its shorter chassis which is easier to maneuver on city streets.

The city had been planning to acquire a new truck to replace an aging engine built in 1979, but the timeline was accelerated when another engine went out of service for repairs. Delta Fire & Safety was able to meet the city’s expedited needs and delivered the upgraded pumper in March. Financing for the acquisition was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

HUERFANO COUNTY FPD ACQUIRES SPECIALTY FIRE APPARATUS

April 15, 2024

Walsenburg, CO (April 2024) – Huerfano County Fire Protection District (Huerfano County FPD) announces the addition of a hybrid fire apparatus to the district’s 19-vehicle fleet. The new unit has the ability to go where other apparatus cannot such as narrow roads, fields, swamplands, brushlands, and tight urban locations. Additionally, the truck can carry up to 1,500 gallons of water for wildlands where fire hydrants are nonexistent. The apparatus is currently being assembled to the district’s specifications by Ikon Fire LLC. Financing for the acquisition was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

CITY OF PINELAND ANNOUNCES POLICE, FIRE FLEET UPDATES

March 27, 2024

Pineland, TX (March 2024) – The City of Pineland announces the acquisition of new police vehicles and a new fire apparatus. The police vehicles are replacing units that served the city for a combined fifteen years, and the new apparatus is replacing a tanker acquired in 2003. The police vehicles are anticipated to arrive in the summer of 2024, and the tanker’s delivery is scheduled for January of 2025. Partial funding for the fire apparatus is provided by a grant from the Texas Forest Service, and the remaining acquisition costs were financed by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

TOWN OF HAUGHTON ACQUIRES NEW PUMPER TRUCK

Town of Haughton logoHaughton, LA (February 2024) – The Town of Haughton announces the addition of a new Rescue Pumper to the fire department’s 10-vehicle fleet. The new apparatus is replacing a pumper truck that served the town for over twenty years and will be put into reserve status. The new truck serves a dual purpose of providing both rescue services and carrying water for emergency situations. The Rescue Pumper was recently delivered from Bulldog Fire Apparatus and will soon be put into service after customizations are completed. Financing for the acquisition was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

Amid unprecedented population growth in the area, the acquisitions allow Travis County ESD 2 to meet the growing demand for emergency services in northeast Travis County. TRAVIS COUNTY ESD 7 ACQUIRES NEW LADDER TRUCK AND RESCUE PUMPER

Travis County ESD 7 logoJonestown, Texas (October 2023) – Travis County ESD 7 announces the acquisition of a new ladder truck and rescue pumper. The ladder truck is replacing an engine that served the district for over 20 years and the rescue pumper is replacing a model from 1994. The vehicles will be joining a fleet of 37 emergency services vehicles. The ladder truck was delivered on July 31 this summer, and the rescue pumper is anticipated to arrive by November. Financing for the apparatus was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.
