LEON COUNTY ANNOUNCES THE ACQUISITION OF HEAVY MACHINERY

Leon County, Texas (May 2021) – Leon County recently acquired vehicles and maintenance equipment for county road work and maintenance needs. “This equipment is a great addition to our maintenance fleet,” stated Kyle Workman, Leon County Precinct 3 Commissioner. B.D. Holt Company, San Antonio, Texas and Iowa Farm Equipment, Tipton, Iowa were selected as the equipment vendors. Financing was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

HAZARDVILLE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT ACQUIRES NEW SCBA GEAR

Hazardville Fire District, Enfield, CT (April 2021) – Hazardville Fire District announces the April 2021 delivery of new Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus district-wide. Jack Flanagan, Fire Chief stated, “this much needed upgrade is very important to the safety of our first responders.” The Fire District selected Shipman’s Fire Equipment, Company, Inc, Waterford, CT as the vendor. GOLD RIDGE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT ACQUIRES NEW APPARATUS

Gold Ridge Fire Protection District, Sebastopol, CA (March 2021) – Gold Ridge Fire Protection District announces the April 2021 delivery of a 2021 Rosenbauer Type 2 Engine-Water Tender truck. This apparatus has a 1,500-gallon storage capacity and can pump 1,000 gallons per minute. Andy Pforsich, Assistant Fire Chief of Gold Ridge Fire Protection District stated this apparatus is a combination Type 2 engine. It is the most requested for mutual aid.” Government Capital Corporation, Southlake Texas provided the financing for the acquisition.

HENDERSON COUNTY ANNOUNCES THE PURCHASE OF HEAVY EQUIPMENT

Henderson County, Texas (March 2021) – Henderson County announces the recent acquisition of a 2014 Bomag compactor. “This equipment is a great addition to our road fleet,” stated Wade McKinney Henderson County Judge, the Bomag will allow the county to continue providing quality maintenance of county roads.” The Bomag compactor was purchased from Rusk County. WILLOW PARK TO UPGRADE WATER METERS

City of Willow Park, Texas (April 2021) – The City of Willow Park is announcing the upgrade of 2,020 water meters and the related Automatic Meter Infrastructure. The project is underway and is scheduled to be completed in the next few months. “This upgrade will allow meters to be read and monitored in real time by the user and the city, stated Bryan Grimes, Willow Park City Administrator. “These smart meters will quickly detect leaks and high-volume water use allowing for more efficiency and conservation while improving service to our customers.” Project design and installation was provided by Aqua Metric Sales Company, Selma, Texas.
