City of Willow Park, Texas (April 2021) – The City of Willow Park is announcing the upgrade of 2,020 water meters and the related Automatic Meter Infrastructure. The project is underway and is scheduled to be completed in the next few months. “This upgrade will allow meters to be read and monitored in real time by the user and the city, stated Bryan Grimes, Willow Park City Administrator. “These smart meters will quickly detect leaks and high-volume water use allowing for more efficiency and conservation while improving service to our customers.” Project design and installation was provided by Aqua Metric Sales Company, Selma, Texas. Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas was selected as the most cost-effective financing solution.
