Wimberley Village Library District, Wimberley, TX (October 2021) – Wimberley Village Library District announces the renovation and expansion of the library. The expansion will significantly enlarge the children and teen areas of the library. It will also create a 100-person meeting room for community use, and a craft area. The remodel will create smaller group meeting rooms and modernize the current building. The project will incorporate One Water concepts, solar power, and clean air technology in the HVAC in the expansion and remodel. Construction is anticipated to begin early spring of 2022 and the anticipated completion is May 2023. Financing for the project was provided by Government Capital Corporation Southlake, Texas.
