Muskogee, OK (August 2026) – Muskogee Public Schools announces the acquisition of a new chiller system. The district’s existing two chillers have been in service for thirty years and provide cooling for the high school campus including classrooms, the cafeteria, and administrative offices. The new chillers have been ordered, and installation is scheduled after the current cooling season comes to an end. The upgraded system is expected to be fully operational by the spring of 2027. Financing for the project was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.
“Government Capital has made it easy for us to obtain tax-exempt financing,” David Chester, Chief Financial Officer at Muskogee Public Schools, shared. “Over the last seven years, they have provided us with several financings which have enabled us to furnish a building as well as install bleachers, a phone system, and now the new chiller system.
