Oklahoma City, OK (May 2025) – Millwood Public Schools announces the acquisition of a plot of land located directly across from the district’s campus. The land was purchased from a local church and currently contains two structures. The district plans to clear the land and structures later this year to build a new facility to house and maintain district buses and vehicles. Financing for the acquisition was provided by Government Capital Corporation. GCC worked in conjunction with the district’s legal counsel, the Center for Education Law, to properly structure the lease-purchase.
