Rogers County, OK (March 2022) – The Limestone Fire Protection District announces the acquisition of two new fire trucks. The two Darley Vision Series Tankers were delivered in January and are replacements for three outdated units, which were in service for over 12 years. Financing for these acquisitions was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

Limestone Fire Protection District is a combination paid and volunteer fire department. The department was originally founded in 1965 and became a Title 19 Fire Protection District in 1980, consisting of 38 square miles of southwestern Rogers County north and south of State Highway 20 between Owasso and the Verdigris River. The department serves the areas of Owasso, Collinsville, and Claremore. They respond to emergency medical events, motor vehicle accidents, grass fires, structure fires, hazardous materials incidents, water rescues, and service calls.
