McCamey, TX (February 2024) – The City of McCamey has launched a city-wide water meter upgrade project to replace over 1,500 outdated meters. The new meters will allow the city to identify and recapture water loss in a timely manner. The city has begun the accompanying software upgrade which will provide increased efficiency in gathering data, and installation of the meters is anticipated to begin in March 2024. Financing for the project was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.
