Sargent, TX (August 2026) – Caney Creek Municipal Utility District announces the implementation of a new AMI system. The District began the project to address constituent desires for an upgraded water metering system that will allow for the timely identification and recapture of water loss as well as increased efficiency for the District. The first phase of the installation has been completed, updating 280 meters. Financing for the project was provided by Government Capital Corporation in Southlake, Texas.
