Anna, TX (February 2026) – Anna Economic Development Corporation announces the acquisition of land in the core downtown area. The land will be used to create a destination locale for the community featuring well-known restaurants as well as outdoor space for social gatherings, live music, and events. The EDC anticipates breaking ground in the spring of 2026 with an opening date in the first quarter of 2028. Financing for the acquisition was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.
