NAVARRO COUNTY, TEXAS ACQUIRES MAINTENANCE EQUIPMENT

Navarro County, Texas (February 2019) – The Navarro County Auditor’s Office announces the acquisition of various much needed maintenance equipment from Bane Machinery. The equipment was received in a timely manner, replacing outdated and aged equipment. The county selected Government Capital Corporation as the most cost effective financing option.

AGUA SPECIAL UTILITY DISTRICT ADDS MULTIPLE ENHANCEMENTS INCLUDING NEW WATER METERS, LED LIGHTING AND NEW VEHICLES FOR THE DISTRICT

Palmview, Texas (Fall 2018) – The Agua Special Utility District recently announced multiple enhancements throughout the district. These enhancements include updating 14,700 new water meters, adding new LED lighting at the Water Treatment plants and purchase new vehicles for the district.

“Agua SUD will benefit from the new water meters by eliminating the need for devoted resources to replace failing meters throughout the surrounding water service area. The reliability of water service and accurate billing for residential and commercial customers will be greatly enhanced” stated the General Manager. “Government Capital’s knowledge of the lending laws and the ability to customize financing, allowed us to purchase much needed equipment.”

CITY OF CARTERVILLE SECURES AN ADVANCED METERING INFRASTRUCTURE SYSTEM

Carterville, Illinois (January 2019) – The City of Carterville, Illinois  announces the purchase of a citywide Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system. The project will include radio read water meters and an innovative software solution. The system designed and installed by Core and Main will greatly enhance reporting efficiencies, eliminating not only human error, but the two week process to manually read each meter. The system will provide live reporting to a central tower creating the ability to identify water leaks when they begin. Installation has an anticipated completion of March, 2019. The City of Carterville selected Government Capital Corporation as the most cost effective financing solution for their purchase.

WALNUT CREEK SPECIAL UTILITY DISTRICT TO UPGRADE WATER METERS DISTRICTWIDE

Springtown, Texas (October 2018) – The Walnut Creek Special Utility District recently announced the upgrade of 4,800 water meters throughout the district. These new meters, provided by Smart Earth Technologies, will improve  data gathering useful in handling customer inquiries and to monitor water system health performance. Government Capital Corporation was selected as the most cost effective option. Smart Earth Technologies cell based system worked best in this area because of terrain and remote areas. Studies have shown replacing old meters will increase revenue by accurate measurement of water loss. Other benefits include better data to use with customer complaints and allow customers to actually see their usage in near real time. Installation has begun and will continue through the end of 2018.

SMITH COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT TO PARTNER WITH OTHER COUNTIES TO PURCHASE MASS APPRAISAL SYSTEM

Tyler, Texas (August 2018) –  The Smith County Appraisal District has recently entered into an Interlocal Agreement with two other counties to purchase a comprehensive computer assisted mass appraisal system. The District selected GSA as the provider of all hardware, software and professional support. Smith County Appraisal District selected Government Capital Corporation to provide the unique financing. The installation should be completed within the next 18 months.
