NATCHITOCHES FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT NO. 4 ORDERS THREE NEW TRUCKS

Natchitoches Fire Department District 4
City of Natchitoches Fire Department

Provencal, Louisiana (August 2017) – The Natchitoches Parish Fire Protection District No. 4 announced the order of three 3000 gallon pumper/tanker trucks manufactured by Fouts Bros Fire Equipment of Smyrna, GA. The 2018 model year trucks replace three trucks with model years ranging from 1982 to 1986. The new apparatus will be placed in service early next year. The District selected a tax exempt lease purchase contract structured by Government Capital Corporation as the most cost effective option for financing the purchase.

“The 12 year term provided by Government Capital Corporation allowed us the budget flexibility to afford three badly needed trucks. Additionally, the financing structure permitted us to avoid the cost and delay associated with traditional debt financing,” stated James Dupree, Assistant Fire Chief for the District.

“The enhanced service reliability and functional capabilities of the new tankers should meet the needs of the District constituents for many years. We take great pride in being able to provide financings that enable first responders to serve their communities better,” stated D.C. Greer, Vice President of Government Capital Corporation.

Kerr Central Appraisal District Utilizes New Efficient Funding Program for Appraisal DistrictsKerr County Seal

Southlake, Texas. (May 2017) Kerr Central Appraisal District utilized a new financing program for the funding of their new facility. Using the new program designed by Government Capital Corporation, the District was able to save significant time and financial resources.

The program, specifically designed for Appraisal Districts has several advantages when compared to more traditional forms of financing. First, an Appraisal District may finance 100% of their project’s cost. Second, the District’s borrowing power is enhanced by virtue of the twenty year fixed rate terms offered by the program. Third, the District saves substantial time and money on real estate financings in that property appraisals are not required and a title certificate may be utilized in lieu of a complete title policy.

“Government Capital made the process smooth. They walked me through each step of the process and responded quickly to our questions and needs.” stated Mrs. Sharon Constantinides, Chief Appraiser.

“I want to congratulate Mrs. Constantinides and the Board for their foresight and leadership with the upgraded facilities which will benefit the Appraisal District for many years,” stated Drew Whitington, Government Capital Corporation Client Manager.
