CITY OF WHITEWRIGHT ORDERS NEW APPARATUS

Whitewright, TX (June 2022) – The City of Whitewright approves the ordering of a new apparatus. The new vehicle will replace an outdated engine which was in service for over 22 years. The new apparatus is anticipated to be delivered by the fall of 2022. Metro Fire Apparatus Specialists, Inc will supply the fire truck and related equipment. Financing was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

FRANKLIN PARISH FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT NO. 5 ANNOUNCES NEW APPARATUS

Franklin Parish, LA (June 2022) – The Franklin Parish Fire Protection District No. 5 announces the acquisition of a new fire apparatus. The new Rosenbauer Class A Pumper, delivered last month, is replacing an outdated unit which was in service for over 23 years. Financing was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

FAIRFIELD ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION REDUCES INTEREST COST

Fairfield, TX (June 2022) – The Fairfield Economic Development Corporation (FEDC) announces the refinancing of a current debt obligation. The original note was used to provide infrastructure improvements to the city’s industrial park. The refunding provided for significant interest savings. Structuring for the debt refunding was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

FORT BEND COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT NO. 6 ANNOUNCES THEIR FIRST STATION

 Fort Bend County, Texas (May 2022) – The Fort Bend County Emergency Services District No. 6 announces the construction of their first fire station. The 10,000 square foot two-story facility will include four bays, six dorm rooms, three offices, multipurpose room, and fitness center. Construction will begin in June 2022 and is anticipated to be completed by summer of 2023. The facility will be located on approximately 1.5 acres. The remaining land will allow for the future addition of an administration office and training center. Architectural design is being provided by PGAL Architecture and construction is being provided by Christensen Building Group. Financing for the project was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

TEMPLE PUBLIC SCHOOLS ANNOUNCES NEW SCHOOL BUS

Temple, OK (May 2022) – Temple Public Schools announces the purchase of a new school bus. The new vehicle is replacing an outdated bus which was in service for over 13 years. The new bus has been delivered and is now in service for both pick-up and drop-off routes and extracurricular activities. Financing for the purchase was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

LAFAYETTE PARISH WATERWORKS DISTRICT SOUTH UPGRADES WATER METERS

Lafayette Parish, LA (May 2022) – The Lafayette Parish Waterworks District South announces the upgrade of water meters including an Automatic Meter Infrastructure. This upgrade will allow for more accurate reads and operate more efficiently while improving the service to the residents of the southwestern section of Lafayette Parish. The new meters will replace existing water meters which have been in service for over two decades. The installation of the meters has begun and is anticipated to be completed by the fall of 2022. Coburns and Utility Metering Solutions provided the equipment and installation. McBade Engineers assisted with the project design. Financing was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.

About the Lafayette Parish Waterworks District South

The Lafayette Parish Waterworks District South (LPWDS) began serving customers in the Judice community in 1982. The system has since grown to supply water to most of the southwestern area of Lafayette Parish. LPWDS once produced water from two deep water wells, but eventually closed its plant in 2006 and currently purchases all of its water from Lafayette Utilities System. Today, LPWDS serves over 4,500 customers and has over 100 miles of water lines.
