Azle, TX (March 2025) – Azle ISD announces the acquisition of six new school buses for the district’s fleet. The vehicles will both replace outdated models that have served the district for up to fifteen years each as well as fill the need for additional daily routes for the growing district. The buses are anticipated to be delivered by Longhorn Bus Sales this summer, and financing for the acquisition was provided by Government Capital Corporation in Southlake, Texas.
“Government Capital has been an excellent partner over the years when looking at different finance models to make sure we are meeting the needs of our district and community,” Matt Adams, Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Operations at Azle ISD, shared. “With school budgets continuing to be tight, Government Capital has offered some great alternatives in meeting our goals.”
