Dublin, TX (September 2024) – The City of Dublin announces the acquisition of a new ambulance, a project two years in the making. In 2022, the city’s EMS Director, John Tadlock, anticipated the need to rotate the city’s primary ambulance and began the process of ordering the new unit. The current primary ambulance will become the city’s backup unit, replacing a unit that has been with the city since 2015. The new ambulance is anticipated to be delivered in September from Frazer, Ltd. of Houston, Texas. Financing for the acquisition was provided by Government Capital Corporation of Southlake, Texas.
“The City of Dublin has a long history of working with Government Capital to help complete various projects,” stated Bobby Mendez, City Manager, City of Dublin. “The fact that Government Capital is so easy to work with thanks to their expertise in Texas city financing keeps us coming back for all of our financing needs.”
“I want to congratulate Bobby Mendez, John Tadlock, and the City of Dublin on their ambulance acquisition,” commented Stephanie Cates, Senior Vice President, Government Capital Corporation. “We are proud to partner with Texas cities in meeting their goals and objectives for the betterment of their communities.”
