Queen City, Texas (August 2024) – Cass County ESD 2 announces the addition of a Spartan pumper to the district’s 16-vehicle fleet. The new apparatus is replacing a frontline vehicle at Station 1 that has served the district for over twenty years. The previous frontline pumper has been relocated to Station 2 to be used as a support vehicle. The new apparatus was delivered from Metro Fire at the beginning of July and was immediately put into service. Financing for the acquisition was provided by Government Capital Corporation, Southlake, Texas.
