Texhoma, Oklahoma (June 2018) – Texhoma Public Schools of Texhoma, Oklahoma announced the purchase of new districtwide LED lighting improvements. The new LED lighting will provide a better learning environment for the students and will result in long-terms energy cost savings. Texhoma Public Schools worked with Government Capital Corporation to provide the financing.
“As a Class A, smaller school district in the panhandle of Oklahoma. In today’s environment, Oklahoma school districts are always looking for various methods to provide cost savings; by converting to LED Lighting, we were able to accomplish this goal,” said Tom Schroeder, Texhoma Public Schools Superintendent. “The conversion was made possible by securing funding with Government Capital Corporation. We utilized a Lease Purchase Agreement allowing the project to move forward. The process was clear and easy!”
